Philadelphia 1/2 MarathonClassic distance meets Rock in the ING Rock ‘n Roll Philadelphia 1/2 Marathon on September 19, 2010. Formerly the ING Philadelphia Distance Run, the ING Rock ‘n Roll is a Scenic and historic course through many of Philadelphia’s celebrated sites with a different Rock Band at every mile. (See Course Map) Enjoy a scenic and historic course through many of Philadelphia’s celebrated sites. The start and finish lines will be on Eakins Oval, by the Philadelphia Museum of Art. From the start line, runners will head towards Center City on the legendary Benjamin Franklin Parkway lined with glorious fountains, international flags and a vast array public art. You will then pass City Hall and Independence Hall. After heading back up Benjamin Franklin Parkway, the course will roll into the serene and picturesque Fairmount Park along the Schuylkill River before finishing back at Eakins Oval. Beautiful scenery and great music to keep you motivated – what else could you possible want for a 1/2 marathon!
St. Jude Memphis marathonGet ready for a fun-filled race weekend taking place in the birthplace of rock ‘n roll and the home of the blues. Experience Memphis’ rich and unique musical heritage, great food and tons of Southern hospitality while participating in a race benefiting the lifesaving work of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Nuatica South Beach TriathlonThe Nautica South Beach Triathlon Olympic distance race course features a 1.5K ocean swim, a 40K out-and-back bike course, and a 10K out-and-back run course. The course will feature a beautiful, warm (expected water temperature is 78 degrees) ocean swim that will run parallel to world famous South Beach. The bike course will be a relatively flat course crossing over Miami Beach's famous Causeways with scenic views of the Intracoastal Waterway, downtown Miami and Miami Beach. The K-Swiss Run Course will be an out and back course, alongside Miami Beach’s Art Deco District, finishing on the white sands of South Beach.
Syracuse Ironman 70.3Ironman 70.3 Syracuse will utilize the wonderful facilities at Jamesville Reservoir County Beach Park for the 1.2 mile swim course as well as the transition areas and athlete parking. Located just 8 miles southeast of downtown Syracuse, the facilities at Jamesville Beach Park are second to none. Athletes will enjoy the beautiful sandy beach front being used for both swim start and swim exit as well as the large grass field being utilized for the transition area at the Ironman 70.3 Syracuse.
